About us

Du Vert au Rouge is a Montréal-based company specializing in the transformation of outdoor spaces, at the intersection of greenery, design, and the urban experience. Since its inception, the company has developed a clear approach: using greening and light as strategic tools to structure, reveal, and energize environments.

Every project is executed with rigor and intent—whether greening a commercial corridor, creating a public square, or designing a large-scale lighting installation. Driven by a strong entrepreneurial vision and a commitment to high-quality standards, Du Vert au Rouge supports municipalities, organizations, and private clients in delivering sustainable, cohesive, and impactful projects. Our goal is to create spaces with a real impact—visually, humanly, and urbanistically.

Hiring an APPQ member ensures the success of your project through superior quality standards. Your contractor commits to:

  • Technical Rigor: Compliance with BNQ standards for long-lasting, durable structures.

  • Transparency: Providing a clear and detailed written contract.

  • Protection: Minimum warranties of 1 year for plants and 2 years for hardscaping (pavers, retaining walls).

  • Integrity: Adherence to a code of ethics and access to a conciliation service if needed.

2025 APPQ Commercial Landscape Award

This award recognizes the excellence of the dune revegetation project at the Parc régional des Îles-de-Saint-Timothée beach—the Sentier des Monarques (Monarch Trail)—an initiative designed to mitigate erosion between the sand and the site’s grassy areas.

2023 APPQ Award – Quebec's Finest Gardens

This award recognizes the relevance and aesthetic appeal of the Salaberry-de-Valleyfield bioswale project. These vegetated ditches create green spaces, foster biodiversity, and blend seamlessly into the urban landscape. In many cases, they serve as vital ecological corridors for insects, birds, and small wildlife—a smart approach that balances performance, cost-efficiency, and quality of life.

2022 APPQ Award – Quebec's Finest Gardens

In the heart of Montreal, numerous lushly vegetated planting strips were established along the REV (Express Bike Network) over a distance of more than two kilometers. This project aims to combat urban heat islands and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
